Applied Education Research Internship Center

RESEARCH. TEACH. DOCUMENT. ANALYZE.

ACA internships are designed as supervised research-center experiences. Interns learn educational research methods while conducting approved tutoring, instructional practice, AI testing, evidence collection, analysis, and capstone research.

The governing internship model

Documentation is a primary responsibility.

Substantive internship activity is expected to produce governed evidence. Interns learn to distinguish direct observation from interpretation, protect learner identity, document instructional or technical interventions, classify evidence, identify emerging patterns, state limitations, and prepare records for supervisor review.

Common Research-Center Curriculum

Research Methods

Research questions, observation methods, field notes, artifacts, qualitative coding, descriptive summaries, triangulation, validity, and limitations.

Supervised Practicum

Subject-matter tutoring, instructional support, or controlled technical testing provides the applied learning environment.

Evidence Governance

Contemporaneous documentation, evidence IDs, de-identification, artifact linkage, correction, verification, and supervisor review.

Analysis & Capstone

Evidence-grounded findings, methodological limitations, professional presentation, and reflective research synthesis.

Qualification-to-Certificate Pathway

1 • Qualification CourseComplete the free Anointed EDU pre-internship research and governance course.
2 • Apply & SpecializeApply to a subject or technology internship and receive an approved learning plan.
3 • 12-Week Research InternshipComplete research-method instruction, supervised practicum, and governed evidence collection.
4 • Evidence-Grounded CapstoneAnalyze the semester's evidence and present findings with limitations and recommendations.
5 • Completion CredentialEarn the specialization-specific Certificate of Completion after supervisor approval.

Intern Evidence & Research Companion

ACA plans a dedicated companion to serve as the governed field-research notebook and evidence-intake environment for interns. The companion will structure session records, tutoring/testing observations, evidence references, privacy classifications, interpretations, claim status, supervisor review, and longitudinal project evidence.

Evidence states: Draft — Intern Recorded → Reviewed — Supervisor Verified → Governed — Accepted into ACA Evidence Layer.

University Partnership Readiness

Each internship now has a governed curriculum and 12-week syllabus suitable for institutional review. ACA can provide learning outcomes, supervision structure, practicum descriptions, evidence requirements, assessment criteria, participation verification, and final evaluations. The participating college or university independently determines academic-credit eligibility and institutional requirements.
